Inspired by this project and after serving in the U.S. Navy, Grant went on to put his degree in Automotive Technology and two years of vocational training to work owning a body shop in Norcross, GA for seven years.
After managing the body shop in Georgia, Grant returned to his home state of New York for eight years, but was brought back to the South, this time lower Alabama, where he and his wife Winni could be closer to family. He and Winni have been married for ten years with two rescue dogs and a home in the quaint city of Silverhill, AL, where Grant demonstrates another mastered skill – Italian cooking.
